Tata Kelola Hubungan Masyarakat Berbasis Website di Madrasah

Abstract


The purpose of public relations in educational institutions is to create the image of a trusted institution in front of the community. But there are Islamic education institutions that do not have a deputy head of the madrasah in the field of public relations. Madrasa’s public relations can strive to build communication with the public through offline and online media. One form of online media that is commonly used today is the website. The menu display on the website is designed to target information seekers who are classified into 2 groups, namely internal and external public. This research is a multi-case study with the aims to reveal the management of madrasa public relation based website according to the theory of the classification of information target recipients, with descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection techniques use the analysis method with the website menu display as the source. The results show that 1 of 5 subjects displays only information targeting the external public, while the other 4 display menus with internal and external public targets.
